How it works

From queue to session
in four moves

There are two ways to book on QMate. Browse the marketplace yourself, or let Play Now find someone for you. Both end in the same place.

Route A — Browse

Pick your player

01

Choose a game

Five titles at launch, each with the gamers currently online.

02

Read the profile

Verified rank, languages, packages, reviews from past sessions.

03

Pick a package

The gamer's rate, the service fee and your total, itemised before you pay.

04

Book it

The gamer accepts, and you get the session details in the app.

Route B — Play now

Let the marketplace find someone

For when you want to play, not shop. Five questions — the game, the mode, your rank, your language, your budget — and QMate does the rest.

45s

One at a time

Your request goes to a single online gamer, who has 45 seconds to answer. If they pass or run out of time, it moves to the next one.

$0

Nothing up front

You are not charged while the search runs. If nobody accepts, you have paid nothing and lost nothing but a couple of minutes.

1 tap

Cancel any time

Pull out of the search whenever you like, right up until a gamer accepts.

The session

What happens once it's booked

Start

You both check in

Each side checks in when the session begins. Those timestamps are recorded and kept — they are what a dispute is decided on later.

End

The gamer marks it done

This does not complete the booking. It moves it to awaiting your confirmation and nothing is paid out yet.

Confirm

You confirm or dispute

Confirm and the gamer's earnings start their payout cycle. Dispute and the money freezes for review. Do nothing and it auto-confirms after six hours.

After

You review

Ratings are what keep the marketplace honest, so leaving one is part of the flow rather than an afterthought.

When it goes wrong

No-shows and disputes

If your gamer doesn't show

There is a 15-minute grace window. Past that, report it in the app — the check-in record shows they never arrived, and you are refunded.

If you don't show

The gamer held the slot and turned other work away, so they are compensated a portion of the booking. The rest comes back to you.

If the session was bad

Dispute it before the confirmation window closes. Nothing is refunded and nothing is paid out until a person at QMate has read both sides.

If someone behaves badly

Report them from the session screen. Reports are reviewed, and selling privileges are removed when they need to be.

Ready when you are

Download QMate and book your first session.
