1. What QMate is

QMate is a marketplace. We connect customers who want to book a gaming session with gamers who sell them, and we handle payment between the two. The session itself is provided by the gamer, not by QMate. Gamers are independent individuals, not our employees.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 to use QMate, and under 18 you need a parent or guardian's consent.
  • One account per person. Keep your login details to yourself.
  • Give accurate information, including when applying to sell as a gamer.
  • You are responsible for what happens on your account.

3. Sessions

A session is played with the customer. Account sharing, boosting and playing on someone else's account are prohibited — they breach the terms of the games we support and can get the account holder banned by the publisher. Offering or requesting them is grounds for removal from QMate.

4. Prices, fees and payment

  • Gamers set their own package prices.
  • QMate charges the customer a service fee on top of the gamer's rate, shown in full before payment.
  • QMate takes no commission from the gamer's rate.
  • Payment is taken when a booking is accepted, not while a request is still being offered.
  • All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.

5. Check-in, completion and confirmation

Both parties check in when a session starts, and these timestamps are recorded. When a gamer marks a session complete it enters a confirmation window rather than completing outright. The customer confirms or disputes it; if neither happens within six hours it confirms automatically.

6. Cancellations, no-shows and refunds

  • A booking may be cancelled before the session starts, under the cancellation rules shown at the time of booking.
  • If a gamer fails to appear within the grace period, the customer is refunded.
  • If a customer fails to appear, the gamer is compensated a portion of the booking in recognition of the held slot, and the balance is returned to the customer.
  • Refunds are made to the original payment method.

7. Disputes

A disputed session freezes both the refund and the payout. QMate reviews the evidence, including check-in records and messages, and decides. Our decision on a dispute is final as far as the platform is concerned; it does not affect any legal rights you have.

8. Payouts

Gamer earnings move from pending to available once a session settles, and are paid out in a weekly batch. QMate may hold a payout while a dispute, a report or a suspected breach of these terms is being investigated.

9. Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone on the platform.
  • Take payment or arrange sessions outside QMate to avoid the fee.
  • Misrepresent your rank, identity or skill.
  • Use cheats, exploits or third-party software that breaches a game's terms.
  • Post fake reviews, or attempt to manipulate ratings.

10. Suspension and removal

We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms. Where earnings are involved we will pay out anything legitimately owed, less amounts subject to a dispute or a refund.

11. Liability

QMate provides the platform as it is. We do not guarantee that a session will improve your rank or meet a particular expectation. To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from your use of QMate is limited to the amount you paid through the platform in the three months before the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use QMate after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
